Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has made a lasting impression on the screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. Then she began moving to Texas where she pursued an athletic therapy profession in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas prior to moving to Florida, Orlando. There she played various roles ranging from local independent films to international commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love to perform despite the minor roles. After that, she relocated into New York in 2001 and landed her very first role on the soap as Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. In the early 2000s, her small parts were in JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first big series part on the short-lived show The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to star alongside some top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The most memorable part of her career came in 2006 on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. Then, she appeared in the Law & Order: LA film, a short-lived sequel. This character was a hit and earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she was awarded the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition to recognize Outstanding performance for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time afterwards. The role was Marisol Delko as the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most current TV work was on NBC's somewhat dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After just two episodes the show was canceled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress was born Italian with a 10-year-old younger brother named Cory. Milano was born into an extremely religious and conservative family. Milano's professional career started at seven as her babysitter took her to an audition. The four selected girls from over 1,000 applicants were chosen by Milano. Milano was featured in TV commercials and on off-Broadway plays, among them the very first American musical rendition to Jane Eyre.
