Annet Mahendru

Mahendru was the child of her Russian mother and a Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She is fluent in German, Russian, English as well as French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, as well as a Russian mother. A choreographed performance at age 11, which appeared on German television, turned her into the Russian dancer who was a snow maiden. When she graduated from the high school level at the age of 11 in New York, she received her bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. She studied improvisation and comedy in the Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. Her family was brought up within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and a Russian-speaking mother Olga. She moved with her father to East Meadow, New York when she was thirteen years old. She appears on FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. Her most well-known role is the ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. The actress was a regular character in The Following on Fox, The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
