Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio

Ana Kristina Gasteyer was born in the United States. She is a performer, actress, comedian and singer. Her fame was forged by her role as a guest on the NBC comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live in 1996-2002. Since then, Gasteyer has starred in ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto and film Mean Girls. Gasteyer began her acting career in the university of Northwestern University she initially enrolled as a voice major however she later decided to pursue theatre studies after she began to join the campus improv comedy troupe. Her enthusiasm for comedy influenced her through many roles including her overly controlling Sheila Shay in Suburgatory or the offbeat Karen Grisham on Lady Dynamite. She has starred telenovelas in films and television programs like Eastbound & Down on HBO, Capadocia for Amazon and Goliath. Reguera was raised in Veracruz. Nena la Reguera's mother had been Miss Veracruz. Nena also became journalist. Reguera trained in classical ballet in the Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura and then went on to study performing arts.
