Helene Fischer is the daughter of Peter Fischer (then the Soviet Union) and Maria Fischer. She was born on the Siberian coast of Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Her father was a physical teacher as was her mother, an engineer in an engineering school. Joseph Stalin expelled Volga Germans, her paternal grandfathers, to Siberia due to the exile in 1941. Her family moved to Germany's West together with her parents, her sister and her four-year-old brother in the year 1988. Helene was a student for 3 years at Frankfurt Stage & Musical School, where she learned to act and sing. In this period, Helene appeared on stage in the Staatstheater Darmstadt and on stage of the Volkstheater Frankfurt.
